Lexroom.ai, Milan HQ, is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and scale our Google Cloud Platform foundation. You will own infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform), serverless architectures, and CI/CD pipelines to empower our legal AI products across Europe.

Fluency in Italian and English is required. The role demands 3–5 years in cloud/DevOps, strong GCP and Terraform skills, and a pragmatic ownership mindset. Hybrid work from Milan with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, Backend Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Solid command of infrastructure-as-code, especially Terraform.
• Production experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of various DB systems (SQL/noSQL, vectorial).
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• Comfort with scripting languages for automation (Python, Bash).
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, and cost management.
• Ownership mindset with outcome-focused approach.
• Fluency in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform with a focus on scalability and cost efficiency.
• Own infrastructure-as-code setup (Terraform) for reproducible environments.
• Manage serverless architecture, deployment workflows, autoscaling, and tuning.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, safe releases.
• Strengthen observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Harden security/compliance (GDPR & ISO 27001) by default.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to support new features with proper infra.
