Job summary

Moveax S.r.l. is seeking a Cloud Engineer with cross-functional Cloud & Infrastructure and DevOps skills. You will build automated, self-healing and scalable infrastructure, own site reliability, design new system architectures, and maintain existing infrastructure.

You will also enhance CI/CD pipelines and promote GitOps practices. The role focuses on automating availability, performance and monitoring, designing cloud infrastructure, and delivering robust disaster recovery solutions for

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux OS.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficient in Python or Go.
• Understanding of UNIX scripting and networking configuration.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and cloud automation.

Responsibilities

• Automate and optimize application availability, performance, monitoring and alerting.
• Design and implement Cloud infrastructures based on stakeholder requirements.
• Produce detailed technical specifications of Cloud infrastructure.
• Invest in automation to improve scalability of application platforms.
• Design and develop Disaster Recovery solutions based on stakeholder needs.
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues and document post-mortems.
• Promote DevOps culture within the team and community.
• Adopt GitOps practices wherever possible.
• Build resilient, self-scaling systems to ensure reliability.

Job description

At our company, Cloud Engineers are expected to possess cross-functional skills in Cloud & Infrastructure and DevOps.

We are looking for an individual with development skills who is dedicated to building an automated, self-healing, and scalable infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for site reliability, designing new system architectures, and maintaining existing infrastructure. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Knowledge of operating systems (Linux)
• Experience with Containers, Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of configuration management (eg. Ansible) and cloud automation (eg. Terraform)
• Experience in programming language (eg. python, go)
• Knowledge in UNIX scripting and network configuration
• Understand of web-based service scalability and reliability
• Understanding of CI/CD practices
