Job summary

WFP - World Food Programme in Rome, Italy seeks an Impact Evaluation Specialist to support its Climate and Resilience Window. The role focuses on rigorous impact evaluation design, data collection planning, IRB processes, and cross- country collaboration within a multi-partner team.

The incumbent will lead or contribute to delivering high-quality evaluations, coordinating with field offices, and producing reports for decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in economics, political science, development studies, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years’ professional experience supporting impact evaluations.
• Experience managing randomized controlled trials is a plus.
• UN or multilateral agency experience is advantageous.
• Fluency in English; intermediate knowledge of a second official UN language.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the Climate and Resilience Impact Evaluation Window with stakeholders.
• Lead design of impact evaluations and ensure IRB approvals and data collection planning.
• Deliver detailed reports and support dissemination, field engagement and workshops.
