Wood is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Life Sciences division in Milan, working on pharmaceutical and biotech projects across Europe and internationally. The role offers hybrid work arrangements and interaction with clients to ensure projects stay on track.

You will contribute to the design of industrial pharmaceutical buildings, including layout, concrete/steel structures, pipe racks, and civil finishing, while coordinating resourcing and contractor follow-up on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in design of industrial pharmaceutical buildings.
• Ability to coordinate internal/external resources and select contractors.
• Regular interaction with clients to report progress and resolve challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design layout for architectural and process purposes in pharmaceutical facilities.

The role.

As Civil Engineer, you will works in a project team and your scope of work is related to design of industrial pharmaceutical buildings covering layout arrangements for architectural and process purposes, design of concrete and steel structures, pipe racks, pharmaceutical and civil finishing, coordination of internal/external resourcing as well as selection of Contractors and follow up on site of civil and finishing works.

You will have regular interaction with the clients to keep them informed of the progress of the project, ensuring that it is on track, and to overcome any challenges that might occur.
