Job summary

UBQ seeks a seasoned Head of Global Events & Travel to lead strategy, governance, and execution of our worldwide events and corporate travel program. You will oversee flagship events, internal meetings, and the travel operating model, driving budgets, supplier relations, and executive-level support across regions.

You will build a high-performing team, set priorities, and manage major commercial decisions, while ensuring duty-of-care governance and incident response across global audiences.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading corporate events and managed travel programs.
• Experience running 5,000+ attendee conferences and VIP/ client-facing events.
• Proven ability to lead global events programs and travel operations.
• Strong vendor management, contract negotiations, and budget accountability.

Responsibilities

• Function Leadership: lead and develop the team, recruit roles, and build capabilities across the function.
• Execute flagship events and client-facing gatherings, manage venue selection and attendee experience.
• Oversee Internal Meetings & Offsites and standardize playbooks for regional leadership.
• Lead the transition/implementation of the global travel operating model, including RFPs and TMC contracts.
• Own global travel strategy, master agreements, daily fulfillment, and executive support.
• Own consolidated events/travel budgets and vendor cost-recovery models.
