Job summary

Experience Senior Living LLC is seeking a PRN Chauffeur/Driver to transport residents and perform safety-focused driving duties. The role requires CDL and strong driving experience, with emphasis on resident safety and community engagement.

The position involves assisting residents, maintaining vehicle readiness, and supporting activities through the Resident Experience Department. Flexible weekends/evenings/holidays are expected, with a full benefits package available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years driving experience, preferably with a 12-passenger van.
• Commercial driver's license required to operate commercial size vehicles.
• Experience with vehicle emergency repairs and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 12-passenger van to activities and other destinations according to schedule.
• Assist residents into and out of the vehicle safely.
• Secure wheelchairs to restraints during trips.
• Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
• Clean and service vehicle and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain daily/weekly trip inspection and maintenance records.
• Deliver groceries or belongings to residents' apartments.
• Assist the Resident Experience Department with activities as needed.
• Submit travel charges to the business office daily.
• Maintain a safe driving record per company policy.
• Handle emergencies and basic First Aid.
• Report potentially unsafe conditions to the Executive Director.
• May perform other duties as needed.

We are looking for a Chauffeur/Driverto join our amazing team!

Schedule: PRN

Responsibilities:

• Drive a 12-passenger van from the community to activities and other destinations according to assigned schedule.
• Assist residents into and out of vehicle in a safe manner.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories and report and coordinate vehicle maintenance repairs.
• Establish and monitor daily and weekly trip inspection and preventative maintenance programs, as well as maintain records regarding the maintenance of all vehicles.
• Deliver groceries and other belongings to residents' apartments.
• Assist the Resident Experience Department in activities and programs as needed.
• Ensure charges are submitted to the business office daily for community travel expenses.
• Maintain a safe driving record according to Company guidelines.
• Handle emergency situations and basic First Aid.
• Report potentially unsafe conditions to the Executive Director.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two (2) to five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of driving experience preferably with a 12-passenger van and knowledge of vehicle preventative maintenance programs.
• Commercial driver's license is required to operate commercial size vehicles.
• Able to operate a seven (7) to sixteen (16) passenger bus, unless otherwise required by ESL or state law. Able to operate a limousine or car, tire changing equipment, First Aid Kit, wheelchair lift, and dollies/hand trucks.
• Experienced with vehicle emergency repairs, able to change automobile tires and handle minor on-road maintenance.
• Knowledgeable of all streets within an 8-mile radius of the community.
• Position requires driving responsibilities (may use Company provided vehicle and/or personal vehicle).
• Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Motor Vehicle Record Policy standards.
• Connect and help residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement at every level of interaction
• Ability to work varied schedules to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
