Jewish Care is seeking a Care Assistant to join our Care team. You’ll support residents with daily living, from personal care to meals and activities, always taking a person-centred approach to tailor your support to help them live well.

You don’t need previous care experience; you’ll receive full training and join a two-week rolling rota with 12-hour shifts (8am–8pm), averaging about 38.5 hours per week, in a welcoming, supportive team.

As a Care Assistant, you’ll support residents with daily living, from personal care to mealtimes and activities, always taking a person-centred approach. You’ll get to know each resident as an individual—what matters to them, what makes them smile—and tailor your support to help them live well.

No two days are the same, but every day is meaningful.

Working pattern

You’ll Work On a Two-week Rolling Rota

Week 1: 4 days

Week 2: 2 days

12-hour shifts (8am–8pm), including some weekends

Average of 38.5 hours per week
