Medacta Applied Solutions, a software company of the Medacta International Group based in Milan, seeks a C++ Software Developer to join our team working on preoperative planning software for orthopedic surgeries.

You will contribute to a desktop application focusing on C++, with strong emphasis on Qt, VTK and ITK, 3D rendering, and clean, maintainable code. You’ll collaborate with regulatory, marketing, and project management to ensure compliance and robust documentation.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Extensive C++ programming experience, including Qt and CMake.
• Strong background in 3D rendering software development.
• Solid understanding of linear algebra and transformation matrices.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development; knowledge of QML.
• Experience with cross-functional teams including regulatory and project management.
• Knowledge of Agile practices and tools.
• Knowledge of VTK and ITK libraries.
• Excellent communication in English and Italian.

Mansioni

• Develop, test, and maintain C++ software apps focused on medical device functionality and surgical planning tools.
• Collaborate with regulatory, marketing, and project management teams to align with industry regulations and product requirements.
• Ensure compliance with medical device software standards (IEC 62304) and maintain thorough documentation for audits.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices for code quality and testing.
• Contribute to risk analysis and usability assessments with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical support during clinical evaluations and product testing; address feedback.
• Continuously monitor and update software libraries and related technologies for performance and security.
