Emerson is seeking a Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Lugagnano Val d’Arda (PC). You will manage requests, issue POs, and collaborate with sourcing to drive cost-effective procurement of indirect materials, services, and facility investments.

You will monitor PO lifecycles, support supplier onboarding, and ensure compliance with corporate requirements. Strong English and fluent Italian abilities are required, along with Excel proficiency and travel readiness in Northern Italy.

Competenze

• Education in supply chain, procurement, engineering, or related field.
• Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, supply chain, maintenance, facilities, or related operational environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Working knowledge of English for business communication. Fluent Italian.
• Analytical skills with ability to interpret data and support reporting.

• Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers, serving as a key point of contact for procurement-related activities.
• Support supplier performance monitoring, identify trends or recurring issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve operational, quality, delivery, or invoicing challenges.
• Analyze procurement data and contribute to reporting activities that support informed business decisions.
• Conduct occasional supplier visits to support project execution, strengthen partnerships, and ensure service quality.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is 28000 & 45000 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. The role is suitable for candidates with early career experience as well as professionals looking to further develop their skill in project quality. This role is covered by the Industria Metalmeccanica Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which defines the applicable compensation structure and progression (CCNL Metalmeccanici — Assolombarda (https://www.assolombarda.it/servizi/assistenza-sindacale/informazioni/informazioni/ccnl-metalmeccanici) ).
