Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. is seeking a Management Engineering internship candidate to support global Field Service process transformation projects.

You will collaborate with Service, Sales, HR, and Communications teams on design, standardization, and implementation efforts. The role offers hands-on experience in Operations Excellence, Program Management, Change Management, and Business Transformation in a global setting, with opportunities to attend international meetings and develop

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree student in Management Engineering.
  • Mandatory English proficiency at C1 (Advanced) level or higher.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to actively participate in international meetings and prepare professional documentation in English.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot).
  • Interest in Operations, Project Management, Business Transformation, Digitalization, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Visio will be considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies will be considered a plus.
  • Academic or project experience related to process improvement and operational excellence will be considered a plus.

The opportunity

Within the Global Field Service Operations team, we are developing innovative programs to enhance the effectiveness of our technical service organizations and accelerate business growth through digital processes, global governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a motivated Management Engineering student eager to contribute to a high-visibility international project, collaborating with global teams across Service, Sales, HR, and Communications.

The intern will support the design, standardization, and implementation of a global Field Service process transformation program, gaining hands‑on experience in Operations Excellence, Program Management, Change Management, and Business Transformation.

How you’ll make an impact

Process & Operations Excellence

  • Analyze and document global business processes.
