Abylsen in Milan is seeking a Business Developer to lead the growth of the Milan agency, acting as an intrapreneur and building a client portfolio in the Industry sector.

You will recruit and develop a consulting team, manage profitability, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition to hire top engineers; compensation includes fixed salary, bonuses, and benefits. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

• Fluent Italian and English (mandatory).
• Strong track record in business development and client acquisition.

Role Description

As an Business Developer for our Milan agency, you will act as a true intrapreneur responsible for developing and managing your business unit within the engineering consulting environment.

Business Development

• Build and develop your own client portfolio in the Industry sector
• Conduct phone prospecting and in‑person client meetings
• Understand client challenges and propose tailored consulting solutions
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
• Promote Abylsen’s three engagement models (technical assistance, service center, work package)

Recruitment & Team Management

• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit top consulting engineers
• Conduct interviews and select high‑potential consultants
• Manage, support, and retain your team through active career follow‑up
• Contribute to team engagement and performance

Profit Center Management & Coaching

• Manage and optimize the profitability of your business unit
• Monitor performance indicators and drive sustainable growth
