SteelcoBelimed is seeking a Business Controller to partner with cross-functional teams, monitor performance, ensure financial control, and drive profitability through robust analysis. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making, while contributing to ERP transition projects and standardizing reporting tools.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and fluency in English.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management Engineering or similar studies.
• 3+ years of experience in similar roles in multinational companies.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and modeling skills.

Your Role

The Business Controller acts as a business partner with all stakeholders and supports management in monitoring business performance, ensuring financial control, and driving profitability through accurate analysis and actionable insights.

The role partners with operational and commercial teams to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports and financial reviews, providing variance analysis and identifying key drivers impacting business performance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment between financial objectives and operational activities.
• Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives, investment projects, and management decision-making.
• Act as a business partner for cross-functional teams, supporting the evaluation of operational and financial performance while challenging assumptions and promoting data-driven decisions.
• Monitor costs, margins, capital expenditures, and investment projects to ensure effective financial control and performance optimization.
• Support internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and financial governance standards.
• Enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and controlling processes, driving standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Actively contribute to ERP transition projects, including SAP implementation and business intelligence development.

• Team player with a collaborative approach and the ability to build effective partnerships across the business.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and business-minded professional with strong strategic thinking capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance attention to detail while maintaining a broad business perspective.
• Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (SAP is a plus), and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional European languages are considered a plus.

Required Experience

At least 3 years of experience in similar roles on structured multinational companies.

Required Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management Engineering or similar studies.
