Clear. in Milan is seeking a BMS Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning and testing of building management systems on large-scale data centre projects.

You will work with project managers and electrical/mechanical teams to ensure systems are fully tested and handover-ready, with a strong focus on BACnet/Modbus protocols. Ideal candidates have extensive BMS/controls background, strong fault-finding skills and willingness to travel to data centre sites across Italy and possibly wider Europe.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer or similar.
• Strong understanding of BMS and HVAC control systems.
• Experience commissioning DDC, PLC or BMS control systems.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with data centre / critical infrastructure projects.
• Willingness to travel to data centre sites across Italy and potentially wider Europe.
• Fluent Italian and good English would be highly advantageous.

A growing building automation and controls company is expanding its presence across Europe and is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join its team in Milan.

The role will focus on the commissioning, testing and handover of BMS and building automation systems across large-scale data centre projects.

You will work closely with project managers, controls engineers, electrical and mechanical contractors, and client teams to ensure BMS systems are fully tested, integrated and operating in line with project specifications and critical infrastructure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Commission BMS and building automation systems across large-scale data centre projects.

• Experience with HVAC plant and mechanical services.
• Good understanding of control panels, sensors, actuators and field devices.
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus or similar communication protocols.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, control schematics and technical documentation.
• Data centre / critical infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
• Experience working on large commercial, industrial or mission-critical projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and contractors.
• Willingness to travel to data centre sites across Italy and potentially wider Europe.
