Job summary

AECOM in Milan is seeking a Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join our Civil Design team. You will contribute to multidisciplinary projects, producing designs, BIM models, and technical documentation while coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of civil engineering experience, strong knowledge of BIM workflows (Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, ACon) and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of experience in engineering consultancies, design firms, or infrastructure-related organisations.
• Experience with BIM software and workflows, preferably including Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs across all project stages, including feasibility, preliminary, detailed, and construction design.
• Produce and review high-quality technical drawings and engineering deliverables.
• Develop and manage discipline-specific BIM models, ensuring consistency and compliance with project standards.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities.
• Support technical coordination across multiple disciplines, including structures, MEP, architecture, environmental, and geotechnical teams.
• Manage interfaces with clients, partners, and project stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Participate in design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination workshops.
• Ensure quality control of project documentation and the accurate preparation of final deliverable packages.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, company standards, and contractual requirements.
