Job summary

Thales Alenia Space in Rome, Italy, is seeking a Bids and Projects Manager to lead multi-program bids and complex project plans. You will coordinate resources, monitor progress, and ensure on-time deliverables, while driving risk management and reporting across cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Master Degree in Engineering, fluent English, and strong experience in project management, cost control, and new product development in large defense/space programs. Permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Support resources forecasting for forecast programs per the approved commercial scenario.
• Contribute to actions and results of competitiveness improvement.
• Harmonize and standardize executive reporting.
• Participate in major Program Reviews and Bid Gates.
• Assist bids and projects when defining PBS, WBS, OBS and Master Schedule.
• Contribute to monthly performance analysis highlighting risks and corrective actions.
• Contribute to documentation and risk & opportunities management.
• Produce KPIs and ensure action plan follow-up.

• Ensure support to manage the resources of the forecast programs in accordance with the approved commercial scenario.
• Grant contribution to manage and monitors the competitiveness improvement process actions and results achievement
• Ensure support and contribution to harmonization and standardization of the executive reporting
• Partecipation to major Program Reviews and Bid Gates
• Ensure support to bids and projects when defining the PBS, WBS, OBS and Master Schedule.
• Contribute to monthly analysis performance highlighting risks, criticalities and contributing to define corrective actions and relevant plans;
• Contribute to documentation
• Manage Risks & Opportunities: capability of elaboration and maintenance of the Risks & Opportunities Register, track risk mitigation and opportunities shaping plans.
• Producing KPIs: prepare reporting and ensure action plan follow-up.
