Job summary

Auberge Collection in Florence is seeking a Bell Attendant to welcome guests, assist with luggage, and escort them to rooms, ensuring a seamless and personalized stay. You will coordinate with the Front Office to support efficient arrivals and departures and provide information about facilities and experiences.

Requirement includes a minimum of 2 years in a luxury hospitality role and Fluent English, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

• Fluent English, both spoken and written; proficiency in additional languages to support international clientele.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with luggage, ensuring a smooth, comfortable and personalised experience.
• Escort guests to their rooms, introducing room features and services.
• Assist guests with luggage collection and transportation upon departure, with care.
• Coordinate with Front Office to support efficient arrivals, departures, and room readiness.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, providing assistance with luggage, directions, transportation, and other needs.
• Provide accurate information about property facilities and experiences; maintain discretion with guests and belongings.
• Coordinate guest transportation in collaboration with Front Office; monitor entrance and arrival areas for a welcoming atmosphere.

Arrival & Departure Experience

• Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with luggage, ensuring a smooth, comfortable, and personalised experience.

• Escort guests and their belongings to their rooms, introducing relevant room features and services as appropriate.

• Assist guests with luggage collection and transportation upon departure, ensuring their belongings are handled with care.

• Coordinate with the Front Office team to support efficient arrivals, departures, and room readiness.

Guest Assistance & Personalised Service

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, providing assistance with luggage, directions, transportation, and other needs.

• Offer thoughtful support throughout the guest journey, anticipating needs and ensuring every interaction reflects the Auberge service philosophy.

• Provide accurate information about the property, its facilities, services, and experiences.

• Handle guest belongings with the utmost care and maintain discretion when interacting with guests and their personal effects.

Transportation & Coordination

• Assist with the coordination of guest transportation, including taxis, private transfers, and other travel arrangements in collaboration with the Front Office team.

• Support vehicle movements and ensure the entrance and arrival areas remain organised and welcoming.

• Communicate relevant guest requests and arrival or departure details to the appropriate departments to ensure seamless coordination.

Operational Support

• Manage luggage storage and retrieval, ensuring all items are properly identified, handled, and stored securely.

• Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the lobby, entrance, luggage storage areas, and other assigned spaces.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experiencein the same role within a luxury hospitality environment is a requirement.

• A poised, polished demeanor that reflects the elegance and warmth of Auberge Collection. The ability to engage guests with grace while managing multiple tasks with precision and attention to detail.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs while maintaining a smooth and organised operation.

• Fluencyin English, both spoken and written, with proficiency in additional languages required to support our international clientele.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, includingweekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the hotel.
