Job summary

YellowSquare Milano is seeking an Experienced Reception & Bar Supervisor to lead the front-of-house in our vibrant Milan location, driving guest engagement and operational excellence. You will oversee the Bar/Reception teams, coordinate with maintenance and kitchen partners, and ensure service that aligns with our community-driven concept.

This temporary, full-time post (6 months) offers growth within a fast-expanding network, travel across Squares, and the chance to shape guest experiences

Qualifications

• 5 years total experience in hospitality
• At least 2 years in a managerial role
• Willing to travel across Squares
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Hands-on, proactive leader

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Overseeing and coordinating all Square teams – including Kitchen, Bar/Reception, and Maintenance – ensuring smooth daily operations and an outstanding experience for both guests and staff.
• Headquarters Alignment: Collaborating closely with the YellowSquare corporate office based in Rome and all central departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
• Team Leadership: Acting as the primary point of contact for employees – supporting, guiding, and motivating your team while fostering an inclusive, safe, and dynamic work environment.
• Performance & Innovation: Implementing strategic approaches to optimize overall performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Crisis Management: Handling critical situations calmly and effectively, whether it's managing difficult guest scenarios, resolving internal conflicts, or responding to unexpected emergencies.
• Local Compliance: Ensuring the Square operates smoothly and in full compliance with Italian regulations and local operational requirements.
