Job summary

YellowSquare in Florence is looking for a Bar & Events Host to join our hostel team. You’ll manage bar operations, chat with guests, and help run events with a dynamic, international vibe. The role is full-time, 5 days a week with nights and weekends, in a fast-paced hospitality space.

You’ll bring at least 1 year in similar roles, exceptional customer service, and fluent English. A positive energy and teamwork are essential for creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in bartending, barista, floor staff, or event support.
• Strong floor service and event hosting aptitude.
• Team spirit and cross-department collaboration.
• Willing to work 5 days a week, including nights and weekends.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality passion.

Responsibilities

• Serving coffee and drinks, chatting with guests, and actively managing operations behind the bar.
• Providing practical and logistical support during hostel events (setting up the vibe, welcoming guests, and keeping the energy high).
• Promoting events and local city experiences to make every stay unforgettable.
• Being a proactive problem-solver and keeping operations smooth.
• Cooperating with the whole crew to keep the energy high across all departments.
