Job summary

Barilla Group in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region invites driven interns to support Global Process & Technology Development Bakery. Based at the Rubbiano Bakery Plant, you will help install sensors, collect process data, and analyze results to improve baking lines and coating materials.

You will interact with line operators and managers, gain hands-on experience in an industrial setting, and develop data management and statistical skills under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a STEM field is required.
• Interest in manufacturing processes and digitalization is a must.
• Good knowledge of Excel and data analysis is expected.
• Fluent Italian and good English both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, commissioning, calibration and validation of inline sensor systems.
• Collect and prepare data for analysis from digital tools and manual measurements.
• Assist with data processing and basic statistical techniques.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D and Supply Chain teams.
• Assist in testing coating materials for baking trays and document results.
