Cubiq Recruitment represents a Series A client in Verano Brianza seeking a Software Engineer (Backend) to build and scale backend systems powering a humanoid robot's cognitive platform. The role focuses on real-time messaging, distributed architectures, and containerised deployments in a hybrid work model.

The candidate should have a degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent, at least 2 years of backend experience, and strong Python skills including asyncio. English fluency is required.

Competenze

• Degree-qualified in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong Python expertise including asyncio, multithreading, multiprocessing.
• Experience building distributed systems with WebSockets, Pub/Sub messaging, and Docker.

Mansioni

• Build and scale the backend systems and APIs behind a humanoid robot's cognitive platform.
• Own real-time communication infrastructure (WebSockets, Pub/Sub) and distributed systems architecture.
• Manage containerised deployments (Docker, Kubernetes/Helm) and contribute to CI/CD automation.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and collaborate with frontend, robotics, and infra teams.
• Drive performance, reliability, and code quality through reviews and optimization.
