Xaba is seeking a Backend Developer to join our distributed team in Milan and beyond. You will build robust, scalable cloud-based systems, develop APIs, and lead technical initiatives for high-performance robotics software.

You should be fluent in Python and Rust, experienced with automated testing and CI/CD, and comfortable working across locations. This role offers stock options and a health benefits package in a remote-first environment.

Competenze

• M.Sc./Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in Python and Rust.
• Expertise in API design, component architectures, principles of service-oriented software.
• Experience using automated testing and continuous integration frameworks.
• Exposure to software product development and delivery practices and related tools.
• Research, design and performance optimization of complex algorithms.
• Parallel computing methods and frameworks.
• Familiarity with fundamental Modeling & Simulation principles and methods.
