Lexroom is seeking a backend engineer to design and build robust APIs in Python using Django or FastAPI. You will own core features from data modelling to deployment and optimize databases for speed and AI-readiness.

The role includes collaborating with frontend and product teams to ensure reliable API contracts and maintaining engineering excellence through testing and CI/CD. You’ll work with cloud platforms and modern ML/NLP tools, with opportunities to shape the future of legal AI in a hybrid

Competenze

3+ years of backend development experience with Python.
Django or FastAPI in production.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, or vector databases.
Strong understanding of Git workflows and API design.

Mansioni

Design and build robust, scalable APIs and backend services using Python with Django or FastAPI.
Own the backend architecture of core product features from data modelling to deployment.
Optimize database performance across SQL, NoSQL, and vector stores.
Develop and improve backend services that integrate LLM and NLP capabilities into our product.
