Flexitech is seeking a B2B Senior Process Engineer fluent in English and Italian for a crucial role in automotive production. Based in Pinerolo, Italy, the engineer will ensure production continuity and manage inter-site material flows between Romania and Italy. The position demands strong problem-solving skills and experience in Lean Manufacturing within a manufacturing environment. The role requires frequent travel and engagement in cross-functional teams to optimize operational activities.

Competenze

• Automotive background (OEM or Tier 1 strongly preferred).

B2B Senior Process Engineer (Automotive) - Italian & English Speaker

Location: Italy Remote - On-site presence in Pinerolo, Italy

Contract: Freelance/B2B contract

Flexitech is looking for a Senior Process Engineer based in Italy, fluent in English and Italian, to support a critical automotive production environment.

The role requires on-site presence in Italy (Turin), with occasional travel to our Romanian site (Ploiesti). The mission focuses on ensuring production continuity, managing inter-site material flows, and supporting operational activities across production, logistics, and quality interfaces.

Main responsibilities

• Ensure production continuity and delivery performance between Romania and Italy
• Coordinate and optimize cross-site parts flow (coverage, transport, planning alignment)
• Act as key interface between production, logistics, and quality teams across both sites
• Support production activities on the BHP site (line balancing, cycle time optimization)
• Prepare and support production documentation (GP12, Quality Walls if required)
• Deploy lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage BOMs to ensure alignment with production requirements

Profile required

• Fluent in English, Italian (mandatory), Romanian is a strong asset.
• Open to frequent travel and extended on-site assignments in Italy, including prolonged periods on site depending on project needs
• Strong experience in process engineering within manufacturing environments
• Automotive background (OEM or Tier 1 strongly preferred)
• Good understanding of production flows, logistics and quality interfaces
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Hands-on, operational mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment
