TXT E-TECH, part of the TXT Group, is seeking an Avionics Test Engineer to join the Embedded Systems unit within the Aerospace & Defence division. You will perform unit and component tests on avionics rigs, verify software, analyze requirements, and participate in certification activities while producing technical documentation.

English proficiency is essential; knowledge of Git and DO-178C is a plus. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field and can collaborate

TXT E-TECH, a company within the TXT Group, is seeking an Avionics Test Engineer to join the Embedded Systems Business Unit within the Aerospace & Defence division.

Main responsibilities

• Carrying out unit and component tests on avionics test rigs;
• Software verification and validation activities;
• Analysis of high-level functional requirements and system requirements;
• Participation in avionics certification processes, including peer reviews, structural coverage
• and the production of technical documentation.

Required technical skills

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems;
• Software testing methodology;
• Basic knowledge of the C/C++ programming language;
• Excellent command of English.

Optional technical skills

• Familiarity with avionics equipment and version control tools such as Git;
• Experience in preparing and executing Requirement-Based Tests (RBT) for the verification of embedded real-time software in the avionics sector;
• Knowledge of the RTCA DO-178C standard;
• Knowledge of the IBM Rational DOORS tool;
• Knowledge of the Serena Dimensions tool;
• Knowledge of the MathWorks suite.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics or Automation.

The ideal candidate will also possess the ability to work as part of a team, a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills.
