Job summary

The World Food Programme (WFP) Aviation Safety Unit is seeking a Senior Aviation Safety Associate G7 to manage global safety data and reporting systems, including validation and maintenance of the safety information repository. Qualifications

• Secondary education completed.
• Post-secondary certification in Aeronautics or related aviation field required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the aviation safety reporting process, ensuring high-quality, standardized outputs.
• Maintain the safety information repository with proper documentation, control and secure record-keeping.
• Monitor safety reports, analyze trends, identify follow-up actions and propose mitigating safety measures.
• Prepare occurrence summaries, dashboards and safety performance updates for global and regional offices.
• Contribute to safety audits, assessments and development of reporting frameworks; support improvement of safety frameworks.
