Job summary

FL Technics Wheels & Brakes Srl. in Bergamo is seeking an Aviation Component Mechanic (Wheels and Brakes) to perform disassembly, inspection, and assembly of aircraft wheels and brakes with strict adherence to maintenance data and authorizations.

You will sign off on job cards, input data into ERP systems, and prioritize work orders while collaborating with production staff. Ideal applicants have a high school diploma and working knowledge of English to interpret maintenance documents, with 6–12

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of English for maintenance data (English text).
• Experience within last 6–12 months in practical aircraft maintenance or equivalent at another approved organization.

Responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft wheels and brakes disassembly, cleaning, blasting, inspection and assembly, including substructures, within scope of authorizations.
• Declare and rectify defects found during disassembly, cleaning, inspection and assembly within scope of authorizations.
• Complete signing of technical documents and inspection items on work sheets or job cards within scope of authorizations.
• Use and strictly follow maintenance data; perform and sign-off job cards within scope of authorizations.
• Receive and prioritize work orders and worksheets.
• Perform administration tasks such as data entry into ERP systems (AMOS) within scope of authorizations.
• Distribute work to others according to qualifications, workload and priorities.
• Determine and initiate necessary repairs on components.
• Ensure proper use and storage of tools and equipment; ensure all special equipment is used per manuals and qualified.
• Assist other production staff as needed; support other departments and managers.
• Comply with occupational safety, health, environmental protection, civil protection, fire safety, and internal rules.

To expand our team in Bergamo, we are looking for:

AVIATION COMPONENT MECHANIC (WHEELS AND BRAKES)

YOUR TASKS:

• Carry out Aircraft wheel and brake disassembling, cleaning, blasting, inspection and assembling as well as their substructure components within scope of authorizations
• Declare and rectification all defects founded on component during disassembling, cleaning, inspection and assembling within scope of authorizations
• Complete the signing of technical documents, and the signing of the required inspection items of the corresponding work sheet, job card or similar within scope of authorizations
• Use and strict following of maintenance data, carry out and sign-off job cards within scope of authorizations
• Receive and prioritize work orders, work sheets etc.
• Performing administration related tasks, like data entry into ERP systems (AMOS) etc. within scope of authorizations
• Work/ task distribution to other in according to the qualification and experience, workload, work priorities
• Determination and initiation of necessary repairs on components
• Proper usage and storage of tools and equipment and ensuring all special equipment to be used according to approved manuals and having sufficient qualification, knowledge, experience
• Assist other production staff as needed
• Support for other departments and managers
• Compliance with occupational safety and health, environmental protection, civil protection, fire safety requirements, and internal rules

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent foreign country level
• English language - sufficient, reading & written, a working knowledge of the language in which the maintenance data is published (mainly in English)
• Experience qualification acquired within last 6 -12 months of practical maintenance experience or equivalent experience at another approved aircraft or components maintenance organization
