FL Technics, located in Bergamo, is seeking a skilled Category A Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of aircraft wheels and brakes, ensuring all work meets authorization standards.

Competenze

  • Proven completed vocational training in aircraft maintenance.
  • Valid Aircraft Maintenance License relevant to the work.
  • 12 months of practical maintenance experience or equivalent.

Mansioni

  • Perform disassembly, inspection, and assembly of wheels and brakes.
  • Certify work done by others within scope of authorizations.
  • Train new staff and ensure proper use of tools.

Conoscenze

Aircraft Maintenance License (AML)
English (reading & writing)
Using ERP system – AMOS

Formazione

FL Technics Wheels & Brakes Srl. specializes in the maintenance and repair of aircraft wheels and brakes.

To expand our team in Bergamo, we are looking for:

Category A (Cat A) Aircraft Mechanic

YOUR TASKS:

  • Carry out disassembling, cleaning, blasting, inspection/ testing and assembly of wheels and brakes as well as their substructure components within scope of authorizations
  • Rectify all defects founded on component during inspection within scope of authorizations
  • Certify work performed by others within scope of authorizations
  • Provide training to new staff and trainees as and when required
  • Use of maintenance data, carry out and sign‑off job cards within scope of authorizations
  • Work/task distribution to other in accordance to the qualification and experience, workload, work priorities
  • Issue Project Release to service and EASA FORM1 for components within scope of authorizations
  • Proper usage and storage of tools and equipment and ensuring all special equipment to be used according to approved manuals and having sufficient qualification, knowledge, experience

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • Education: Proven completed vocational training/apprenticeship certificate in a field conducive to release activity of the aircraft wheels and brakes
  • An Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) related to the type and scope of the release activity
  • An aeronautical diploma or certificate from the relevant field, which is conducive to the release activity
  • Technical school diploma/certificate
  • Military diploma or certificate related to the release activity, aeronautical diploma or certificate
  • Experience qualification acquired within last 12 months of practical maintenance experience or equivalent experience at another approved aircraft or components maintenance organization – logbooks and/or company authorization certificates
  • English language – sufficient, reading & written, a working knowledge of the language in which the maintenance data is published (mainly in English)
  • Using and knowledge of the ERP system – AMOS (advantage)
  • EU passport or valid residence permit
