Job summary

KPIT is seeking an experienced Software Integration and Testing Engineer to join the PDT/SWE/IVDO organization. The role focuses on hands-on software integration, test automation, and Build Verification Testing for automotive connectivity platforms.

You will build test benches, develop automated tests, and analyze Linux/Android issues, working across embedded automotive platforms with diverse teams to ensure release quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as specified.
• 2+ years of experience in C/C++ development and testing.
• 4+ years of software integration in Linux environments (Yocto).
• 2+ years of Android integration experience.
• 4+ years of automated testing for embedded products.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain test benches for Build Verification Testing (BVT).
• Develop automated test cases and update test suites per specs.
• Perform root cause analysis on Linux and Android, relating issues to code or build changes.
• Support integration, validation, and troubleshooting across embedded automotive platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, integration and validation teams for high-quality releases.
• Document test procedures, findings, and integration activities.
