Bertrandt is looking for an Automotive Software Integration Engineer to join our team in Italy. You will support software integration, diagnostics, and testing for advanced vehicle systems, working with cross-functional teams to analyze CAN/LIN traces and ensure quality.

The role requires a degree in automotive or related field, experience in software integration, knowledge of E/E architectures, and fluency in English.

Competenze

• Degree in Automotive, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or similar.
• Experience in automotive software integration, diagnostics, testing, or validation.
• Knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures and ECU behavior.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Familiarity with Vector and ETAS tools; Jira/Confluence experience.
• Fluent English.

• Create and manage defect tickets and track issue resolution;
• Support testing, re-testing, and troubleshooting activities;
• Develop scripts and tools to automate analysis and reporting;
• Create KPIs, reports, and technical documentation;
• Collaborate with testers, developers, and integration stakeholders;

Qualifications

• Degree in Automotive, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or similar.
• Experience in automotive software integration, diagnostics, testing, or validation.
• Knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures and ECU behavior.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Knowledge of Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape) and ETAS tools (INCA, MDA).
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence.
• Python and Git knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English.

yearly gross salary: 30.000€ - 40.000€

The final compensation package will be defined according to experience, competencies and overall fit with the role.
