Job summary

Alium in Turin, Italy (Hybrid) is seeking an experienced Automotive QA / Testing Engineer to validate next-generation vehicle software. You will specialize in HIL simulation, diagnostics, and OTA validation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust software performance.

The role requires 3+ years in automotive software testing, hands-on experience with Vector CANoe and CAPL scripting, and strong knowledge of UDS/DoIP/CAN/CAN-FD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive software testing experience.
• Expertise in HIL testing, diagnostics, and OTA validation.
• Experience with Vector CANoe or similar tools.
• CAPL scripting and test automation experience.
• Knowledge of UDS, DoIP, CAN/CAN-FD.

Responsibilities

• Design, set up, and execute automation test cases on HIL test benches.
• Verify diagnostics communications and fault-handling protocols.
• Validate end-to-end OTA updates; create test configurations and simulations.
• Perform software/firmware flashing validation and rollback testing.
• Manage software versioning and vehicle software integration testing.
• Collaborate with international teams and local stakeholders.
• Experience with test bench hardware setup and fault insertion.
• Strong background in automated test script development.
