Job summary

TestingCentrum in Turin, Italy, is seeking a QA/Testing Engineer (Automotive) to validate vehicle software using HIL simulations, diagnostics, and OTA validation. You will design and execute automated tests on HIL benches and ensure end-to-end system integrity.

The role requires strong knowledge of UDS and CAN protocols, plus hands-on experience with CANoe or similar tools. English and Italian fluency is preferred; the team collaborates with international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive software testing.
• Proficiency in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, including UDS (ISO 14229) and CAN protocols.
• Experience with OTA validation and testing.
• Nice to have: Vector CANoe familiarity; CAPL scripting; fluent in English and Italian.

Responsibilities

• Design, set up, and execute automation test cases on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches.
• Verify diagnostics communications and fault-handling protocols.
• Validate end-to-end functionality of Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
• Create and run complex test configurations, network simulations, and automated test scripts using Vector CANoe.
