Abbott seeks an Automation Tester to join the AlinIQ Product Research and Development team within Abbott Core Diagnostics. The AT will design, develop, execute, review and report automated tests for informatics products in compliance with division, corporate, and industry regulation.
This role will help build out and maintain automation tools and test scripts. As SME for automation practices, you will work with software engineers, testers, business analysts, cybersecurity, and others in Agile
The Automation Tester (AT) reports into the AlinIQ Product Research and Development organization in Abbott Core Diagnostics. The AT is responsible for design, development, execution, review and reporting of automated testing for our informatics products in compliance with division, corporate, and industry regulation. This position will help build out and maintain our automation tools and test scripts. The AT will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product research and development teams in automation practices, working closely with software engineers, software testing, business analysts, cybersecurity, and others in Agile Scrum methodologies. The role requires the ability to work in an environment that is fast paced, to work independently, and to communicate and collaborate well as part of a team.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering; computer science; management information system or closely related discipline.
