EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Automation specialist with expertise in ABB or Epson robots, Omron or B&R PLCs, or C# and C++ HMIs. You will lead design support, handle machine commissioning on-site, and guide colleagues within a technical team while collaborating with GEARS teams.

Main responsibilities include startup, installation, testing, ramp-up, PLC/Robot/C#/C++ requirements, and development across PLC, robot, and HMI software.

Competenze

• 4–6 years in industrial automation engineering.
• Expert in at least one PLC/robot domain with basic knowledge of the other two.
• Knowledge of CE/UL safety directives and machine safety.

Your role

We are looking for:

Automation specialist with specific expertise in ABB or Epson robots, Omron or B&R PLCs, or C# and C++ HMIs.

The candidate must have strong expertise in one of these three areas and the flexibility and willingness to develop skills in at least one of the other two.

The candidate must be able to manage a project independently, starting with design support, both on the functional and safety sides, and handle machine commissioning during both the development phase and the on-site commissioning phase at the customer’s site.

They must be able to follow guidelines within a technical team and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.

They must also be able to collaborate effectively with all GEARS teams and share their expertise.

Main requirements:

• Good knowledge of industrial automation. 4-6years’ experience

• Expert or basic knowledgeofC#/C++ and Scada/HMIprogramming software**
• Knowledge of machinery/safety directives related to software development (CE / UL certification)
• Analytical skills andproblem-solvingattitude

**IMPORTANT

Of the three areas of expertise listed above, candidates must beExpertin at least one of them and have a basic understanding of another of the two.

The candidate must be able to work in at least two of the three major programming languages listed.

They must be someone who can develop into a multidisciplinaryprofessional.

Availability to travel for business trips (Europe, Thailand, China, India)
