Tenova Advanced Technologies in Castellanza, Italy, seeks an Automation Development Engineer to join the Pomini Team. You will work on electrical cabling, PLC/SIEMENS control, and on-site commissioning in a multicultural, technically complex setting.

The role involves testing, customer training, and after-sales support while ensuring contractual performance. A technical high school diploma and English proficiency are essential.

Competenze

• Technical high school diploma required.
• English language knowledge required.
• Fluent electrical drawings knowledge.
• Fluent hydraulic schematics knowledge.
• Fluent Siemens PLC knowledge (Ladder, SCL, AWL).
• Fluent Siemens CNC knowledge.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Knowledge of data exchange networks.
• Knowledge on motors and drives.
• Knowledge on grinding processes and wheels.
• Empathy and ability to work under stress.

Mansioni

• Supervise and/or execute electrical cabling of sub-assemblies and I/O checks.
• Test machines in plant and at site; document tests.
• Start-up activities in workshop and commissioning.
• Train customer operators and maintenance teams.
• Provide after-sales assistance and on-site service at customer premises.
• Ensure contractual performance during start-up and commissioning.
