Novartis Farma S.p.A. is seeking an Equipment Specialist to ensure reliability, availability and GMP compliance of electronic and automation systems on ophthalmic packaging lines.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot automated equipment, and support line start-ups while following GMP, Data Integrity and EHS policies. The role requires a technical diploma in electronics or related field, with experience in pharmaceutical or food industries preferred, and knowledge

Competenze

• Diploma or degree in electronics/electrical/automation; degree is a plus.
• Experience in electronic maintenance of automated equipment, preferably pharma/medical devices/food industries.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs; basic PLC/HMI programming.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes).
• Familiarity with GMP and Data Integrity; CMMS/SAP PM knowledge is a plus.

Mansioni

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated secondary packaging lines.
• Diagnose faults; conduct root cause analyses and implement actions.
• Maintain automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, inverters, servo drives, and networks.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams on upgrades and deviations.
• Maintain vision, serialization systems, and ensure regulatory compliance and reliability.
• Support line start-up, format changes, and CAPA investigations.
• Adhere to GMP, Data Integrity, EHS, and SOPs; document maintenance activities.
