Novartis is seeking an Equipment Operator to execute secondary packaging for ophthalmic products in a GMP environment. You will operate automated lines, handle setup/changeover, and ensure proper material feeding and data integrity.

Responsibilities include line clearance, serialization checks, QA collaboration, and supporting audits. A strong attention to detail and shift flexibility are essential for maintaining quality and production targets.

Competenze

• Technical high school diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or chemical disciplines; pharma/medical device packaging experience is a plus.
• Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing or packaging environments.
• Knowledge of GMP and secondary packaging processes; exposure to sterile/ophthalmic packaging advantageous.
• Familiarity with production IT systems (MES, SAP) and serialization/Traceability processes.
• Understanding of vision systems and inspection equipment in packaging lines.
• Strong documentation discipline and commitment to safety and compliance.
• Willingness to work in shifts and participate in ongoing training.

• Operate automated secondary packaging lines for ophthalmic products, including setup and changeover.
• Manage feeding of materials and monitor equipment performance; report abnormalities.
• Perform line clearance, line checks, and in-process controls for quality compliance.
• Verify coding, serialization, aggregation, and readability of data; handle non-conforming products.
• Ensure GMP, data integrity, HSE compliance, and traceability in production records.
• Support investigations and participate in audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with QA, MS&T, Engineering and Maintenance to maintain continuity.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement and operational excellence to reduce waste and downtime.
