Commscope is seeking an experienced automation and maintenance engineer to lead control initiatives for Capex projects in a manufacturing setting. You will coordinate with system integrators and vendors to ensure IT/OT alignment and improve equipment reliability and process control.

The role requires strong PLC programming skills, HMI/SCADA configuration, and the ability to troubleshoot electromechanical systems while driving continuous improvement and 5S at the plant.

Competenze

• Minimum 5–7 years in maintenance/automation in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
• Familiar with safety norms and continuous improvement methods.

Mansioni

• Lead controls scope for Capex projects from concept to commissioning and validation.
• Coordinate external integrators and vendors to align new lines with standards and IT/OT architecture.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, system architectures, and BOMs.
• Drive SPC-driven projects and support development of SPMs to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure safety norms are followed across all processes.
• Provide engineering support to close breakdowns and maximize machine uptime.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S standards at the workplace.
