Commscope in Macerata, Italy, is seeking an Engineer I, Controls to maintain and optimize manufacturing equipment, lead automation initiatives, and steer Capex automation projects from concept to commissioning.

You will coordinate with system integrators, ensure IT/OT alignment, develop electrical schematics, drive SPC projects, and support 5S and safety across processes. Candidates should have 5–7 years of maintenance/automation experience and strong PLC skills.

Competenze

5–7 years in maintenance/automation in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong troubleshooting of electromechanical control systems and continuous manufacturing equipment.
Proficiency in PLC programming and debugging (AB, Siemens, Delta, Mitsubishi).
Experience with VFD and servo programming and commissioning (ABB, Siemens, Delta).
HMI and SCADA programming and debugging (AB, Siemens, Delta).
Diagnostics of Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus communications.
Knowledge of electrical power systems and control drawings.
FMEA and RCA basics.
Basic hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting.

Mansioni

Lead controls scope for Capex projects from concept to commissioning and validation.
Coordinate external integrators and vendors to align new lines with standards and IT/OT architecture.
Create and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, system architectures, and BOMs.
Drive SPC-driven projects and support development of SPMs to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure safety norms are followed across all processes.
Provide engineering support to close breakdowns and maximize machine uptime.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S standards.
