Serco is seeking an IT Applications Analyst in Rome to design and implement intelligent orchestration solutions supporting data processing systems. You will blend software engineering with backend development, automation, and system integration to replace repetitive tasks and connect heterogeneous systems.

The role emphasizes building REST APIs, Python automation, and AI-powered agents, with a shift-friendly hybrid model and collaboration with Operations Engineers to identify automation

Formación

• Proven software development experience in Python.
• Experience designing and developing backend services and REST APIs.
• Experience with AI Agents and automation platforms.
• Experience developing automation platforms and workflow orchestration systems.
• Solid knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and containerized apps (Docker).
• Knowledge of Git and modern software development workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Develop workflow orchestration services to improve automation and operational efficiency.
• Build intelligent agents to automate activities and infrastructure management.
• Create orchestration services for processing workflows and distributed systems.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI services into platforms.
