Family Dollar in the Como area is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily operations, serve customers and develop the team. Duties include assisting with store functions, organizing merchandise, and maintaining stock areas.

Strong communication and customer service skills are required, along with the ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time role with opportunities for growth and leadership development.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise and maintain seasonal store areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Supervise, train and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
