Four Seasons Venice, at Hotel Danieli, is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for Terrazza Restaurant. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will support daily operations, ensure exceptional service standards, and drive operational excellence to create unforgettable dining experiences.

• Support the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operation of Terrazza Restaurant and ensure seamless service.
• Lead the restaurant team during service, providing guidance and real-time coaching to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency; proactively address issues.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Bar, and Host teams to ensure smooth communication and flawless service.

About The Role

Reporting into the Restaurant Manager, you will support the daily operations of Terrazza Restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational excellence, and unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in leading, coaching, and motivating the restaurant team while overseeing service execution, guest satisfaction, and team performance. You will act as an ambassador of Four Seasons' culture of genuine heart, ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality and personalized service.

What You Will Do

• Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operation of Terrazza Restaurant, ensuring seamless service and adherence to Four Seasons standards.
• Lead the restaurant team during service, providing guidance, coaching, and real-time support to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency, proactively resolving issues and responding to guest feedback.
• Build strong relationships with guests, recognizing preferences, anticipating needs, and creating memorable, personalized experiences.
• Coordinate closely with the Culinary, Bar, and Host teams to ensure smooth communication and flawless service execution.
• Assist with team scheduling, attendance monitoring, task delegation, and daily briefings.
• Support the onboarding, training, and development of restaurant employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and restaurant mise en place throughout all dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP requirements, health and safety regulations, and Four Seasons operating procedures.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels, managing operational supplies, and controlling costs in line with departmental objectives.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving financial goals, maximizing revenue opportunities, and maintaining profitability targets.
• Accurately handle guest checks, billing procedures, and POS operations while ensuring operational integrity and attention to detail.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Restaurant Manager when required.

What You Bring

• Previous management or supervisory experience in luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, or high-end hospitality environments; international experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
• Strong knowledge of luxury food and beverage operations and service standards.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for guest service.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask effectively, remain composed under pressure, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of restaurant financial performance metrics.
• Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and creating memorable guest experiences.
