ESCP Business School in Turin is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor of Strategy on a tenure-track basis, starting September 2027. The role focuses on high-quality teaching across graduate and undergraduate programs and active scholarly research in strategy and management.

The successful candidate will publish in top-tier journals, contribute to dissemination activities, and participate in program design. English proficiency is essential; Italian language skills are not required.

Role

The Management Department is hiring an Assistant / Associate Professor (tenure track) based at our Turin campus, starting September 2027.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Strategy / Management or related field.
• Strong research orientation with publications in top‑tier peer‑reviewed journals, including FT listed journals. Demonstrated publication trajectory reflecting academic excellence and capacity to generate impact within local and European economic spheres. Active involvement in dissemination and outreach activities (e.g., conferences, interviews, media contributions).
• Proven pedagogical competencies to deliver quality teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels. Experience in design and management of educational programs is a plus.
• Excellent command of English. Italian or other languages are not required.
• Solid grounding in social sciences, consistent with ESCP’s intellectual tradition.
• Preference for candidates with several years of experience as faculty members and a track record of success in research, teaching, and service.

Benefits

Competitive salary: €54,000–€67,000 for Assistant Professors and €58,000–€85,000 for Associate Professors. Supplementary compensation up to 30% of gross annual salary may be offered for strong or high‑potential research profiles. Variable compensation may also apply for academic responsibilities. Tax incentives may be available under Italian law for individuals relocating from abroad.
