Two Assistant Professor Positions in Economics for Experienced Candidates

Bocconi University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Economics, starting in Fall 2027.

Key information:

• This call is open to applicants whose Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, or a related field was officially conferred before September 1, 2023.
• Applications are welcome from candidates working in any field of economics.
• The appointment is for a six-year tenure-track contract. Candidates may be considered for promotion to a tenured position at any time before the end of the contract, subject to successful evaluation.
• Compensation and teaching responsibilities are competitive with those offered by other leading European institutions, with a minimum gross annual salary of 100,000 euros. The final remuneration package will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications and overall professional profile, in accordance with the University's principles of equity, transparency and non-discrimination governing its compensation policies.
• Candidates should demonstrate a strong record of, or clear potential for excellence in research and teaching.
• The application deadline is Monday, October 5, 2026, at 23:59 Central European Summer Time (CEST).
