Hermes Corporate seeks an AI/ML Engineer to design and deploy AI-driven solutions tackling complex real-world challenges in Lombardy. You will fine-tune LLMs, build data pipelines, and create scalable deployment strategies for production environments.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on AI/ML experience, strong Python with PyTorch/TensorFlow, and expertise in transformers, LLMs, and MLOps. Bonus points for cloud ML platform experience and Docker/Kubernetes proficiency.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field required.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems.
• Strong Python skills with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Experience with transformers and LLMs.
• Familiarity with model optimization (quantization, pruning, distillation).
• Solid grasp of MLOps and deployment workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

• Design and deploy AI models for complex business problems
• Fine-tune LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral, Falcon) for domain-specific tasks
• Build and manage data pipelines for model training and inference
• Develop scalable model deployment strategies in production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build AI-powered applications
• Monitor model performance and optimize for accuracy and efficiency
• Stay up to date with the latest in AI, LLMs, and model optimization

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems

• Experience with Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and multimodal AI
• Knowledge of embeddings, vector DBs, and semantic search
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and RAG techniques
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud ML platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Industrial domain experience is a plus
