A design practice in Rome is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead retail design projects. The role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring design objectives are met. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience, proficiency in project management software like AutoCAD, and the ability to work autonomously. Proactive and detail-oriented individuals with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
• Professional knowledge of English, spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of (interior) architecture design and executive phases.

Mansioni

• Define design objectives, timings, and budgets for multiple projects.

Role Description

We are looking for Architectural Project Managers with experience in retail design, and with a keen eye for details to join our team in Rome.

Responsibilities

• definition of design objectives, timings and budgets of multiple projects simultaneously;
• coordination and control of design phases and all involved parties;
• management of third-party vendors and consultants (arrange meetings, quotations, invoicing);
• management of tenders, review of contracts and negotiation with contractors;
• coordination between contractors, review and approval of construction drawings;
• drafting of reports following project / construction site meetings;
• drafting of reports to monitor progress of projects / construction sites;
• timing and cost control from design phase to construction;
• off-site and on-site production and construction management.

Technical requirements

• ability to sketch layouts and details by hand;
• previous experience in project management or in a similar role (min. 5 years);
• professional use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and other project management software;
• good knowledge of AutoCAD (2D design, layout setting);
• competence in (interior) architecture design and executive phases;
• basic knowledge of specialised technical disciplines (MEP, etc.);
• professional knowledge of the English language, spoken and written.
