AR S Progetti, Ambiente Risorse e Sviluppo seeks an Architect/Designer to contribute to planning and conservation projects from Rome and abroad. The role involves conceptual and detailed design, 3D modelling, photorealistic rendering, and technical drawings.

Requirements include an MSC in Architecture, 5 years of relevant experience, Italian language, and fluent English; knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS tools is essential. Travel for assignments is expected.

Competenze

• MSC in Architecture; PhD in conservation or landscaping/urban design is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architecture/urban planning/urban design.
• Italian mandatory with fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcGIS, QGIS, Photoshop, Civil3D, InDesign.

Position: Architect/Designer

AR S Progetti, Ambiente Risorse e Sviluppo (Environment, Resources and Development) is a consulting firm working all over the world in the areas of Culture, Governance and Human Rights, natural resources, physical planning and infrastructure engineering. Established in ‘92, as a result from the evolution of previous forms of association, ARS Progetti inherited a professional tradition dating back to the beginning of the 70.s, which considered people’s cultural specificity as an asset for development. ARS Progetti is framework contractor for DEVCO/EU since 26 years.

Deadline for application: 30/05/2026

Duty Station: Rome headquarter, Italy; and missions abroad

Start date: as soon as possible

Duration: 1-year renewable. Trial period 3 months.

Language: Italian mandatory, English fluent

Education: MSC in Architecture. Specialization or Phd in conservation of Cultural Heritage and/or Landscaping Design and/or Urban design is an asset.

Qualification: minimum 5 years of professional specific experience in the areas of architecture and/or urban planning and/or urban design.

Italian is mandatory with fluent written and spoken English Excellent ability to write and edit reports or other written materials. Excellent knowledge and use of main software, such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, QGIS, PHOTOSHOP, Civil3D, INDESIGN.

BIM proficiency is an asset.

Personal Skills: The candidate must be proactive, hard worker, result-oriented, passionate on Architecture and Cultural Heritage thematic. Self-sufficient with problem solving skills. Capable to work under stress. Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Passionate in travelling.

Job Description/Role: The resource will mainly work within ARS Planning and Engineering Dpt and Culture Dpt. with Architectural or Conservation Team on the following activities:

Provision of conceptual, preliminary and detailed design, 3D modelling, photorealistic rendering, mapping and production of technical drawings.

Willingness to travel for short- to medium-term assignments (up to one month) in developing countries and the Gulf region.
