Job summary

Amazon is seeking Masters students for an Applied Science Internship across multiple research domains. You will design and implement state-of-the-art ML solutions that ship to production, working with Amazon scientists.

The role involves end-to-end system development, research, and publishing findings in collaboration with senior researchers. Interns will explore graph-based ML, multimodal and computer vision approaches, and will be mentored throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Are enrolled in a Master's degree in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of end-to-end systems and write technical white papers
• Create roadmaps and drive production-level projects that ship to customers
• Develop solutions and deploy them into production, design algorithms/models for research teams
• Collaborate with Amazon scientists and interns to build scalable ML solutions for safety and compliance across catalogs
