Atlas Copco in Udine, Italy seeks an Application Engineer to translate customer requirements into optimized chiller configurations and proposals. You will analyze specs and perform thermal calculations, engaging with customers and internal stakeholders during pre-sales and proposal work.

You will develop application-focused content, case studies and technical documentation, contributing to market feedback to drive product development.

Competenze

• Requires a university engineering degree and fluency in English.
• 5–7 years of experience as an application engineer or similar.
• Strong affinity with thermodynamics, mechanical design and calculations/simulations.
• Proficiency in Office suite and design tools (Inventor, AutoCAD).

As an Application Engineer you support the technical development of customized process cooling solutions. You will translate customer needs into optimized chiller configurations and value-driven proposals, while analyzing specs and performing thermal calculations. You’ll engage with customers and internal stakeholders during pre-sales and proposal work, and contribute to marketing content and technical documentation. This role sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, and product feedback, offering meaningful impact on solution design and customer satisfaction. You’ll join a collaborative team focused on scalable, technically solid cooling solutions.
