What will you own
  • Develop knowledge and competence of a diverse range of technologies and become a subject matter expert (SME) on one or more specific Markforged product(s)
  • Lead the implementation in the field of Markforged technology, to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the machines / platform which meets the customer expectations
  • Attend prospect meetings with the Sales team to identify opportunities for the customer, exceeding their expectations and influencing the sales process
  • Listen, understand and evaluate the customers’ needs to be able to identify appropriate and effective solutions which enhance their experience of the Markforged technology, resulting in increased sales
  • Execute benchmarking and technical analysis to support and increase the value‑add benefit of Markforged technology for our customers
  • Represent the voice of the customer by encouraging technical feedback which can be reported to Head Office, to enhance the Markforged offering
  • Support customer‑facing demonstrations and presentations and technical demand generation content (blog posts, webinars, whitepapers)
  • Deliver and coach Technical Training to our customers and VARs in the effective use of Markforged technologies
  • Identify and contribute to the marketing activities of the team, including creation of customer success stories which will drive business growth
  • Support peers in attending Markforged and VAR events to generate new leads, create pipeline and promote the positive engagement of Markforged’s Additive Manufacturing platform as a solution
  • Using your technical expertise to create and improve technical documentation and training material
  • Provide feedback and support on complex customer cases, driving to successful conclusion
  • Any other duties as reasonably required
What you have
  • Proven experience with customer support, being able to demonstrate your technical knowledge in handling complex problems and providing solutions for the customer, preferably with Industrial solutions using 3D‑printing technology, hardware, software or with industrial / capital expense equipment
  • Self‑motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in an aggressive timeline‑driven environment fostering your drive and determination to meet and exceed customer needs
  • Proven ability to enhance customer relationships to the benefit of the organisation
  • With the ability to work collaboratively but also independently you will strive to be the best at what you do
  • Organisational competencies and project management skills to effectively benchmark using your technical expertise to analyse, support and increase the value‑add benefit of Markforged technology for our customers
  • Your communication skills will allow you to foster quick and successful relationships with both internal and external customers which stand the test of time
  • Demonstrated ability to present to technical knowledge to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with Additive Manufacturing is beneficial
  • Knowledge of general manufacturing processes and techniques is advantageous
  • Experience with major CAD software such as Fusion 360, Solidworks, NX is a bonus
  • Willingness to travel (majorly domestic and occasionally international, up to 60%)
  • Bachelor of Science, Engineering, business or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with e-learning and LMS platforms
  • Fluency in Salesforce CRM use and reporting
  • Experience of working with international teams is an advantage
  • Language competency: Business proficiency in English, one or more European languages such as Italian, German, French, Spanish is of benefit
Salary Range

The pay range for this role is expected to be between 40,199.90 - 47,294 EUR (annually).

Other compensation may include a commission, a comprehensive benefits package and other social benefits. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
