Thales Alenia Space is seeking an Antenna MGSE Designer to develop MGSE for the Antenna Product Line, including 3D CAD modeling, drawings, and procurement support. The role involves coordinating with project managers, defining architecture, and ensuring on-site validation.

Ideal candidates have a strong CATIA background, experience with 3D CAD tools, and a background in mechanical design or aeronautics. Permanent position based in Italy with competitive compensation and performance bonuses.

Competenze

High School Diploma preferred; mechanical engineering degree or equivalent is acceptable.
Good knowledge and experience of 3D CAD tools with CATIA preferred.

Mansioni

Interface with project manager to define make-or-buy strategy.
Contribute to MGSE architecture for antennas.
Prepare MGSE Technical and Procurement Specification and SOW for containers, trolleys, and supporting frames.
Create 3D CATIA models for MGSE across programs and facilities.
Generate 2D parts and assembly drawings in CATIA.
Provide model inputs for thermal and mechanical analyses.
Coordinate with Purchasing Office for supplier selection and procurement tracking.
Monitor MGSE procurement and participate in design and acceptance reviews.
Ensure MGSE availability and on-site validation; support cost/schedule control.
